A21: Summary Of Regulations Relating To The Role Of The Managing Agent
Synopsis
As well as the pressure of a flow of new regulations there is a problem of perception; many leaseholders simply do not believe that their landlords and managing agents have to do the things that they are required to do by the regulations. Leaseholders and clients are unaware that there could be civil and sometimes criminal prosecutions, fines (and potential imprisonment in the worst health and safety and fire safety failures) for failing to do so.
