The Property Institute seeks to set and uphold high standards of staff wellbeing at Member Firms. The Wellbeing Standard is included in TPI’s Consumer Charter and Standards for adoption on a voluntary basis from 1 January 2025. The purpose of this guidance is to help Member Firms manage the wellbeing of their staff and comply with the voluntary Standards should they wish.

What is Wellbeing?

Wellbeing is a combination of factors contributing to a person’s physical, psychological, emotional and social health.

Why have a wellbeing policy?

Having a strong focus on wellbeing through a designated wellbeing policy highlights the organisation’s commitment to employee wellbeing. It sets the tone for how employees are treated and supported at work. This can assist an employee in their ability to flourish at work and perform at their personal natural best.
