A Fellow of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and The Property Institute, Andrew started his residential PRS and leasehold management practice in 1995-2016, taking on the role of UK Residential Director at RICS 2013-2016, then his CEO role at IRPM. He oversaw IRPM's 2022 merger with ARMA, becoming CEO of The Property Institute, the new professional body formed from the merger. The Property Institute is the UK’s leading professional body for residential leasehold and multi-family property management, representing both individual professionals and businesses alike. Andrew is passionate about raising standards across the property management sectors and encouraging property professionals to be a progressive and ethical force for good.

Cassandra is widely recognised for her expertise in the industry. Amongst her industry related qualifications, she is a Fellow of TPI and an Associate of RICS. She is a member of TPI’s Leasehold and Commonhold Expert Group, and an honorary consultant to FPRA. She is a leading authority in Tribunal matters and is regularly called upon to advise and represent her national client base. Cassandra is passionate about sharing knowledge with the property management sector, and is the primary author of Legally Speaking a free online resource hub for property management professionals.

Emily has over 17 years’ experience in Residential Property Management. Emily is passionate about delivering excellent service to customers alongside supporting, training and mentoring her team. Emily is on the Board of Directors for The Property Institute and is an active member of the Wellbeing working group. In addition, she is a Doyenne Ambassador and an Honorary Consultant for the Federation of Private Residents Associations. Away from property Emily enjoys time with her family and playing a variety of musical instruments.

Glenys Diebelius

Audit Team Lead - The Property Institute
Glenys has been in the Property Management sector for over 30 years, with experience in both the residential and commercial sectors.  Glenys has worked for both large and small firms, such as Jones Lang LaSalle where she rose to Associate Director with the Corporate Solutions department working alongside clients such as Deutsche Bank, Cisco, and HP.  Glenys then decided to move away from working in the Capital and joined local managing agents before embarking on a career in regulation when she joined the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2018 as a Technical Specialist in their audit team.  Then in 2022 she joined The Property Institute as Audit Team Lead and has been instrumental in transforming our audit program.

Recognising a gap within the industry, Jodie set out to create her own company that would provide a more caring experience for landlords and tenants. Fraser Allen Estate Management was born out of Jodie's desire to fill that gap and focuses on managing residential blocks with the utmost respect for the homes of others as its core ethos. As a professional speaker, Jodie also supports the industry by advocating for lone working and the safety of property managers.

Justin is a barrister and was appointed a KC (King’s Counsel) in 2024. He regularly appears in the Upper Tribunal, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court on property/housing/leasehold management issues and, in the recent past, has also served at the Law Commission as part of the team working on the leasehold reform projects and on the Grenfell Tower inquiry for some of the victims, survivors and families.

Senior Consultant for the Property & Insurance Operation - Cardinus Risk Management
Mark is a former Fire Officer of 15 years and has been with Cardinus now for 16 years. Mark undertakes all technical guidance and update training for the fire safety team who look after some 12,000 developments. He also heads up the BAFE audit, validation and technical query process on the Type 1 and 3 Fire Risk Assessments that Cardinus undertake. Lastly, he interacts with the Fire service to reach resolution on complex properties.

Rob is the founder and CEO of Insurety Group – the leading specialist insurance broker working within the leasehold sector. Rob spent time as a Managing Agent and knows the complexities of the sector from firsthand experience. Leading a team of over 20 staff across four offices, Rob has grown Insurety to now insuring over 8,200 developments and 1.3m homes. Rob and his team have built Insurety to be something very unique in the sector – a true insurance partner for managing agents.

Operations Director - Michael Laurie Magar
Shelley has spent most of her career in the block management industry. She is the Operations Director of managing agent Michael Laurie Magar Ltd. Shelley is also a Business Psychologist and a Cognitive Behavioural Coach. She delivers a variety of courses for TPI including Resilience, Leadership and Time Management. She regularly presents talks, webinars and writes articles on different aspects of Mental Health, Leadership and Wellbeing. Shelley sits on the TPI Wellbeing Working group and is an advocate for supporting wellbeing and mental health awareness at work.

Tom is an entrepreneur focused on solving problems that sit at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Real Estate. In 2023, Tom sold his Google-backed AI real estate company, askporter, to Germany's largest facilities operator and now serves as Chairman of the RED Foundation AI Board and Chief Product and AI Officer at Adiuvo, a property and technology services company serving over 1 million properties worldwide. Tom is committed to applying AI for positive societal and business impact.

Waqas is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and started his career with KPMG as a Public Sector Auditor dealing with health, education, housing and local government clients. Subsequently Waqas moved on to a role as a Compliance Inspector to undertake regulatory reviews of enrolled Environmental Bodies and then as a Compliance Accountant as a member of the European Finance Shared Services team providing specific support for the serviced UK, French and German businesses in order to achieve compliance with accounting and SOX standards. Waqas then joined RICS in 2014 and in that time has acquired knowledge and expertise in Client Money and Insurance Regulation. Waqas alongside Glenys TUPE to TPI in October 2022 as an Auditor.
