Opportunity to manage a portfolio of apartment & housing developments with the support of our team, either at our Lake District office based just south of Kendal or our Lancashire office based between Lytham and Kirkham. We currently look after over 100 residential developments, in addition to several commercial premises, managing the communal maintenance, finance, compliance and communication. YOUR ROLE Unprecedented recent growth has resulted in an opening for an experienced property manager with a strong work ethic, communication skills, organisation and track record. In this diverse role you will be representing Rowan, and your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Managing and building relationships with clients, contractors and surveyors • Helping to shape the wider business growth, improvement and training strategy, drawing on your existing experience • Managing your own time and diary • Chairing AGMs and directors' meetings and writing the agendas and minutes for these • Responding to client enquiries • Mediating between and influencing clients • Analysing and explaining lease information • Co-ordinating with accounts to set and manage budgets • Inspecting sites to identify high-level maintenance requirements and working with clients and contractors to resolve these • Co-ordinating minor and major works maintenance and construction projects with the support of our team and external surveyors • Implementing recommendations from fire risk assessments, working with our fire risk assessor, clients and contractors as required • Ensuring health and safety compliance • Continued learning, development and knowledge sharing across the team and clients THE LOCATION & HOURS This role is predominantly office based with regular client visits and scope to work from home one day per week. You will be required to work 30-37.5 hours per week (depending on whether your preference is to work part or full time) with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break per day. Working hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday for a full-time role, but there is flexibility depending on your personal requirements.
