The Institute is seeking a Qualifications Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of their qualifications and CPD programmes. The role will focus on creating engaging online qualifications, managing the accreditation of third-party qualifications, and ensuring the successful delivery of their qualification systems. This position also involves managing examination question banks, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Are you the right person for the job? • Relevant degree or equivalent. Experience in the Residential Property Management Sector is desirable • Experience in the end-to-end design lifecycle of regulated qualifications and assessments • Experience in recruiting and managing Subject Matter Experts and/or lead Authors • Understanding of awarding body procedures and processes • Competent and experienced in Microsoft packages and our current Learning Management System (Moodle) • Expert knowledge and understanding of all matters relating to qualifications & training • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills • Ability to achieve targets and work to deadlines • Ability to work at a strategic level when required • Ability to lead a small team and be a team player • Ability to organise and prioritise • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Critical decisive thinker with innovative problem solving skills • Commitment to a high standard of customer service • Displays clear personal credibility with ability to build strong relationships • Has courage and confidence to challenge • Is driven to deliver and make things happen • Positive attitude to change, development and quality • Degree of flexibility in approach to work What will your role look like? • Collaborate to develop new qualifications and learning products • Stay updated on relevant policies and initiatives • Review and update products as needed • Work with Working Groups on qualification development • Ensure accuracy of Qualification details in the Awarding Body database • Maintain efficient systems and procedures to support core team activities • Contribute to online, remotely invigilated exam systems • Adhere to procedures for submitting and maintaining qualifications on the OFQUAL register • Serve as a contact for awarding bodies, OFQUAL, and regulators • Provide excellent customer service to TPI-recognized centers • Participate in project teams, meetings, and follow up on actions • Produce and present reports as required • Assess risks within areas of responsibility • Represent TPI at events and meetings to build credibility and relationships • Create assessment materials for external quality assessors • Identify, recruit, and manage subject/technical experts for qualification development • Training: Work with relevant teams on training initiatives • Tech Talks: Collaborate on public relations, L&D, and membership • Professional Guidance: Support technical and public affairs teams • Perform additional duties as needed by the business • Follow company policies, including safety and environmental pledges • Travel within the UK when required • Timely qualification development, adhering to project plans • Regulatory compliance in relevant areas • Fair, valid, and reliable examinations and assessments • Subject matter, difficulty, and quality of exam items and marking • Effective CPD program that meets quality assurance standards and supports student learning Company Benefits • Competitive Salary, with a pension • Close to local transport • 25 – 30 days Holiday entitlement dependent on service • Additional Christmas shutdown and birthday off • No weekends or bank holiday working • Quarterly Work events – team away days
