Free Webinar: Building Safety Case – Role of the PPM and feedback from the Regulator

Thursday 28th November 2024, 10am to 11am

Join Chris Stansell Director of Earl Kendrick London / South and Andrew Banister Director of Earl Kendrick Midlands / North, for an insightful seminar on how planned maintenance programmes can help improve your Building Safety Case and keep your buildings safe and compliant.

We’ll look at how combining routine maintenance with safety inspections can address structural and safety issues, ensure reserve funds are properly allocated, and reduce the need for expensive emergency repairs. You’ll also learn how these programmes can support ongoing compliance with building safety regulations.

In addition, we are keen to share the most recent feedback we have received from the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) concerning the Building Safety Cases we have submitted and the Building Control applications we have produced in our role as Principal Designer (BSR).

What You Will Learn

1 - Planned Maintenance Programmes and how these can support the Building Safety Case

  • Bringing in-line the cycles of routine maintenance and inspection incorporating structural and building safety issues
  • Allowing focused reserve fund collection in relation to above and greater control over expenditure
  • Minimising the need for emergency and reactive maintenance
